The band will play their critically acclaimed 1984 album Ocean
Rain in full at each show, which contains classic hits like ‘Silver’,
‘Seven Seas’ and ‘The Killing Moon’.
Starting in Nottingham on Tuesday 12 September, the tour will then
make stops in Edinburgh, Liverpool and London throughout
September.
We spoke to Echo’s Will Sergeant last year when they reissued four
of their albums and embarked on a tour of the UK. Sergeant told us,
‘The Bunnymen's identity had a wide scope from the beginning. It
was created by the four of us, and we all indelibly stamped our
personality on the sound of the records. Four minds coming from all
different angles to create something that gelled into the Bunnymen
sound, something that is so hard to define. That's what made us
unique, there was no one person leading the way.’ Read the full
