Children go free at Wirral music festival

A WIRRAL music festival has announced that children will go free at this year’s
event.
Wirral Chamber Music Festival is offering free tickets to children attending all the
events over its third festival weekend.
Featuring a range of classical music concerts, there are six concerts to choose from
in venues across the Wirral from Friday, June 30 until Sunday, July 2.
Thelma Handy, Leader of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, who co-
founded the festival, said: “Our vision is to bring classical music into the community
and to small venues that are accessible to more people.
