the classical music audience with family events, multi-media programmes and

Beethoven was not only the composer who broke the mould countless times,

opening doors for those who followed. He also wrote at length, and with passion.

Aurora Orchestra plays undercover in the open air near Granary Square, King's
               Cross

And the words he used on introducing his 7th Symphony to Vienna in 1813 could

have been written now, with an eye on the world's key workers during the pandemic:
'We are moved by nothing but pure patriotism and the joyful sacrifice of our powers
for those who have sacrificed so much for us.'

Aurora plays this forward-looking and uplifting symphony again at the Proms, on 10
Sept. But you can hear the performance first, played from memory, and live, if you
act quickly! The concert is ideal for families too – short, dynamic and easy to reach.

We couldn't be more excited. A real live full-scale orchestra, playing to a substantial
audience. It will be quite like old times.
