The Sixteen sing

CELEBRATED choir, The Sixteen is marking its 40th anniversary with a
"Choral Pilgrimage".
And Hereford Cathedral will be a stop on Wednesday, October 9, at 7.30pm.
Not only four decades will be celebrated, but music going back to the Middle
Ages.
A spokesman said: "This year’s programme, entitled ‘An Enduring Voice’, spans
choral works over six centuries to capture music past and present, highlighting
the choir’s choral journey over the last four decades.
"The Sixteen arose from founder and conductor Harry Christophers’ formative
experience as cathedral chorister and choral scholar.
