Concert partnership for Bradford

Festival Choral Society

TWO major music organisations have joined forces for a spectacular concert
in Bradford, bolstering the city’s rise as it builds up being UK City of Culture
2025.

Bradford Festival Choral Society and the Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra will
perform classical masterpieces, featuring world-class musicians, at St George’s
Hall on April 29.

Bradford Festival Choral Society (BFCS) was founded as a direct result of the
opening of St George’s Hall in 1853. The Yorkshire Symphony Orchestra (YSO)

was established in 1947 and fans include David Hockney and Alan Bennett.
