The Chicago-based Black Oak Ensemble presents French String Trios written between
the years of 1926 and 1939 on this new release from the Cedille label. The album
includes the world premiere recordings of works by Henri Tomasi, Robert Casadesus
and Gustave Samazeuilh as well as music by Jean Cras, Emile Goué, Jean Françaix,
and Gabriel Pierné.
