Are you working on any upcoming projects?
My main focus at the moment is this album release and pulling

together the repertoire for my next album! These two things have an

overlap, so I’ve got my head in these camps at the moment. But I can
tell you that next time, I’m definitely going to get my piccolo out — I

have a new one, especially for the occasion (a Scherzer), and I have

a few things I’m enjoying researching with my collaborators. I love the

sound they make, but they’re such a nightmare with their rotary

valves. But it’s worth the stress because, for me, the sound is better. I
just couldn’t trust the other one anymore, so I had to replace it!
