February is a busy month for classical music in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Below are some
upcoming highlights to plan your listening.
Symphony orchestras
Former Dallas Symphony music director Andrew Litton conducts the Dallas Symphony Orchestra,
with pianist Stephen Hough as soloist in Tchaikovsky’s First Piano Concerto. 7:30 p.m. Feb. 3, 4 and 5

Led by current music director Fabio Luisi, the DSO performs William Grant Still’s Poem,
Tchaikovsky’s Pathétique Symphony and Bruch’s First Violin Concerto with Daishin Kashimoto, who is
