In the red tower on the Julier Pass, filming has taken place for an

extraordinary classical project. Baritone Benjamin Appl presents
Schubert's "Winterreise" for the BBC.

Music history knows its super hit for every genre. A work that

combines everything that makes it so wonderful. When it comes to

the art form of the song, probably only one name comes up: "The

Winter Journey". At the beginning of November, the enchanting tones

of this timeless masterpiece by Franz Schubert were heard in the

tower on the Julier Pass, which was ravaged by the first snowstorm.

However, it was not an Origen concert organized by host Giovanni

Netzer, but took place behind closed doors, accompanied by an

enormous technical effort.
