               Illuminated River to complete with the unveiling
               of five more bridges in spring 2021

                   ▪  The lighting of Blackfriars Road, Waterloo, Golden Jubilee,
                       Westminster and Lambeth Bridges in spring 2021 will continue the
                       transformation of Central London
                   ▪  90 million people a year will see the nine-bridge artwork spanning
                       from London to Lambeth Bridge
                   ▪  The scheme, chosen by an international jury in an open
                       competition, was won by New York-based artist Leo Villareal with
                       award-winning London architects Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands.
                   ▪  Fully funded by private philanthropists with the backing of the
                       Mayor of London, the project’s supporters include Arcadia – a
                       charitable fund of Lisbet Rausing and Peter Baldwin, the Blavatnik
                       Family Foundation, the Reuben Foundation and the Rothschild
                       Foundation
                   ▪  This visionary public installation demonstrates that London
                       continues to be a uniquely creative and innovative capital
                   ▪  Illuminated River is the longest public art commission in the world
                       (3.2 miles)

               This spring, the lighting of an additional five bridges in the Illuminated
               River artwork will create the world’s longest public art commission.
               Blackfriars Road, Waterloo, Golden Jubilee, Westminster and Lambeth
               Bridges will be illuminated by New York-based artist Leo Villareal’s
