Boxing brilliance
On 23 January Matt Tinker (in blue), Sisk’s Excelerate
Graduate Engineer, competed in the final of the Irish
Elite Senior Championship. Matt boxed well against
Roy Sheahan, the 2006/07/08 champion in the 81kg
category, but was unfortunately beaten 30-27, 30-27,
29-28 in what was a great match.
Matt boxes with the St Francis Boxing Club and he
tweeted after the match ‘Thank you to every1 for the
messages and support I really do appreciate it! Fair play
to Roy, a quality fighter. Will make 3rd time lucky eh!’
Congratulations to Matt for making the finals and we’ll
be sure to look out for you lifting the trophy next year.
Kevin Keating Tom Duggan Alex Krikorian Chartership champions
Paul Johnston Noel Treacy Congratulations to Kevin Keating MRICS (Major
Projects), Tom Duggan MRICS (UK South), Alex
Krikorian MRICS (UK South) and Paul Johnston MRICS
(UK South). All of whom have passed their RICS
Assessment of Professional Competence and are now
Chartered Quantity Surveyors.
Our congratulations also go to Noel Treacy, Senior
Estimator, who became a Chartered Surveyor with the
Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland in December.
Thank you to the Sisk staff who, as members of our
APC Panel, acted as supervisors and counsellors,
giving their time over the last few years to achieve this
100% success rate with our candidates.
Alan Hipkiss, Sisk’s Senior Quantity Surveyor at
Vicarage Gate House, summed up the fantastic result,
‘This is brilliant news and I’m so proud of what they’ve
all achieved.’
