Migrant Labours including Women & Children
were found moving from distant cities towards
their native villages mostly in eastern UP during
Lockdown. Considering their exhausted condition
due to long hours of journey, the Company had
served refreshments to migrant workers passing
through the Unit at Korwa, UP. Further, as a token
of its appreciation for police personnel working at
various check points and also State Government
officials deployed to enforce Government directives
on controlling the COVID-19; the Company had
distributed Refreshments including Beverages.

Medical support to address health crisis

As part of fight against COVID-19, HAL has
produced and handed over more than 300 Aerosol
Boxes to various State Governments to be used
in Hospitals. The Aerosol Box acts as an insulator
between the Doctor and Patient. It can significantly
reduce the possibility of transmission of COVID-19 to
Doctors and Para Medical Staff. In addition, around
1000 Face Shields were produced by the Company
using 3D Printing technology and distributed to
CORONA Warriors.

Company has made provision for isolation/
Quarantine ward for the treatment of patients.

imperative that use of Digital Media is enhanced
