IL (India) Limited (formerly known as Hindustan Insecticides
Limited) (HIL) is a Govt. of India Enterprise, under the administrative
Hcontrol of Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of
Chemicals & Fertilizers.

HIL is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of wide range of Pesticide
Technicals and Formulations in its own state of art manufacturing units located
at Rasayani, Maharashtra, Udyogamandal, Kerala and Bathinda, Punjab. The
product range includes Insecticides, Herbicides, Weedicides, Fungicides etc.
HIL has strong marketing network across the country with its Six Regional
Sales Offices strategically located in the country. The company is currently
manufacturing Nine Agrochemical Technicals and about 40 formulation
products. HIL has been actively promoting the safe and judicious use of
pesticides through meetings and training programmes amongst the farmers.
Apart from agrochemical segment, HIL has also diversified into Seed Segment
and has been accorded status of National Level Seed Production Agency
(NLA) by the Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. To address the
need of farming community, HIL has recently diversified its business activity
into Fertilizers, Micronutrient, Bio-fertilizer and Bio-pesticides segment. HIL
