• Much before the pandemic emerged, Indian
Oil had earmarked the year 2020 as the year of
digitalisation. As the situation changed after
February, 2020, the advent of the concept of
remote working, physical distancing, and need for
keeping a track of people’s health, triggered the
opportunity for implementation and utilisation
of technology.
• One such application for medical teleconsulting
have enabled easy access to medical consultation
for the employees and their dependents, thereby
preventing overcrowding of hospitals.
• Another application was an e-attendance portal
that enabled the organisation to not just keep
a track of employee attendance but also the
employee heath.
• The COVID Dashboard has played a unique role in
tracking information and taking immediate steps.

• IndianOil developed an alcohol-based hand rub
solution, IOC Clean, which was distributed free
of cost to government hospitals and police.
• To minimise surface contamination, Indane
cylinders are sanitised at godowns. The tank
trucks carrying empty and filled cylinders are
sanitised at the bottling plants.
• To reduce the contact touch points between
location employees and TT crew at bulk
installations, IndianOil has started auto image
printing on delivery challan instead of physical
signature.
Preventive Measures

precautions being carried out at workplace have

operations post Lockdown was widely circulated
