NTPC stands with the nation in the fight against
COVID-19
The world continues to fight the uncertainties
brought in by the outbreak of COVID-19. In the past
couple of months, India has seen the positive cases of
COVID-19 increasing gradually across the country.
Amidst this gloom, it was encouraging to witness
the citizens of the country standing in solidarity with
the government at the centre and respective states
while working together in the face of adversity to
fight and stop the spread of COVID-19.
Uninterrupted Power Supply
Generation of electricity is an essential service that
has kept the nation running during the lockdown
period as well as when the country is slowly
unlocking.
Team NTPC ensured continuous power generation
while adhering to the guidelines set by the government
during the lockdown period thus ensuring every
corner of the country remains lit. Series of proactive
measures were taken during this period and various
communications and guidelines were issued for
ensuring sustained power generation. Contingency
plans are still in place to deal with any eventualities
and ensuring uninterrupted electricity to the nation.
