            ONGC took proactive measures to ensure the safety
            of its employees and issued detailed guidelines to
            the employees through  its internal  websites and
            through e-mails even before the announcement
            of  lockdown  on  23  March  2020.  ONGC’s  robust
            IT and communication  systems in place were
            realigned  to  enable  the  employees  to  Work  from
            Home.  Continuous  improvements  were  made  in
            the systems to ensure seamless working from home.
            Virtual  secured  Meeting  Platforms  were  made
            accessible to the employees.


            ONGC  CMD’s  message  on  following  WHO
            guidelines was  posted on Social  Media  and his
            inspirational  message  hosted  on  ONGC  websites
            and communicated through e-mail.  Information
            regarding preventive measures to contain the spread
            of  COVID-19  were  shared  with  each  employee
            through  e-mail  and  detailed  SOPs  for  offices  and
            installations were issued  and disseminated  to
            all  the  employees,  ex-employees  and  secondary
            (contractual) workforce  through various  means
            like SMS, web portals and e-mails. Digital displays
            at all work centres were used to spread awareness
            about  COVID-19  and  measures  to  prevent  the
            spread of the virus. Similar efforts were also made   that employees working in remote locations remain
            in  the  residential  complexes  of  ONGC.  Medical   connected with their families through phones and
