With a hunched over back.

I asked her, “What are you doing
Out here in the woods? Are you lost?

Or are you up to no good?”

She laughed at me, as she touched

Her gray hair... “I found some nice

Apples, and I just wanted to share.”

The apples looked so good,

I had not seen any all this year,

The apples looked so perfect,

So I tried to hide my fear.
