Top Teens of America, where are you? We are looking for a few good Teens
to come to the 50th Anniversary of Top Teens of America in Atlanta, Georgia
June 26 - July 2. All present and former Top Teens are invited to this once in a
lifetime event. If you are in contact with any former Teens, please let them know
of this spectacular event. The dates for former Teens are June 28 - June 30. The
dates for present Teens are June 27-July 2.
The agenda will include:
•Friday - a reception meet/greet for the former Teens
•Saturday - workshops presented by former Teens, 50th Anniversary

Public Meeting/Dance, Hall of Fame
•Sunday - Ecumenical breakfast with former TTA Ministers officiating

and the official launch and installation of officers of the TTA
Alumni Association
For our present Teens, we will continue to have meet and greets, talent show, speaker's
tournament, spelling bee, off-site trip, informative workshops, etc. Tim King, CEO of
Urban Prep, will be the keynote speaker for the TTA Recognition Breakfast, The Daniel
Robinson Band, led by former Teen Daniel Robinson, will headline the 50th Anniversary
Public Meeting/Dance, and we have so many ministers to choose from, we will surprise
you with that. Howard Hewitt is headlining the Gala. In addition, this is an election
year, so there will be a lot of excitement in the air for the 50th Anniversary and for the
new officers that will be elected.
As for Ambassadors, this is a title that is afforded former Teens who are asked to come
back and assist TLOD by serving as a speaker, facilitator, etc. A current Teen cannot
be an Ambassador. Our current Ambassadors are Le'Zaire Reese, Josef Sorrells,
Kerry Jones and Cameron Bouligny. Not only do they assist TLOD, they represent
TLOD at other events. Our Ambassadors continue to make TLOD proud
outside of TLOD. Ambassador Le'Zaire and Josef attended the A-TEAAM
National Summit as speakers and turned it out. Teen Kerry assisted with the
HBCU Bus Tour for the TTA Leadership Academy through his affiliation at
Tuskegee Institute. So, there is a place for you after Top Teens of America.
We hope that the TTA Alumni Association will assist in keeping you connected
with us.
In addition to a great community service organization, we are a great sisterhood/
teenhood. Let us continue to lift up our members as we pray for each other. Let
us pray for health, love and prosperity as we treat each other with kindness.
