Starlight Chapter Takes Home the Award for Area VI

When TTA Advisor Lady Rose Coker issued a challenge to the Starlight Chapter to raise
$500 for the annual March of Dimes Walk-a-Thon, we took it seriously. Teens and Ladies
rallied together in our fundraising efforts and more than doubled our initial goal! We
were very excited to see the sum of our efforts recognized at Syn-LOD, where the
Starlight Chapter took home the award for Area VI. Following the walk, Ladies and
Teens enjoyed a light snack in the park and partnered in a Brain Strain Challenge for Me
and Mentor. The puzzles were cryptic and each team needed a keen eye to solve them;
however, our winners, Lady Jann Williams and Teen Sullivan Thomas, answered nearly
all of the puzzles correctly. Our winning duo proved again that Ladies and Teens
working together are up for any challenge.
