The Importance of Vital Fluids Preventative Maintenance:

How it works:
All modern lubricants contain additives that inhibit breakdown. As these additives are depleted the uid degrades.
Degraded uids affect lubrication regimes reducing clearances or plugging passageways thus increasing friction, heat and wear. The increase in friction results in higher energy requirements or malfunctions. The resulting increase in operating temperatures causes autocatalytic effects on the uids ability to prevent sludge and accelerates acid buildup promoting corrosion. The net result is an increase in maintenance and operating costs and shorter component life.
