I do not know the reason. You did not go to school for that reason.

RELATIVE ADVERBS

WHEN / WHERE = in/ on/ at WHICH
WHY = for WHICH

I still remember the day. We first met on that day.
⇒ I still remember the day when we first met.

The hotel was not very clean. We stayed at that hotel.

⇒ The hotel where we stayed was not very clean.

I do not know the reason. You did not go to school for that reason.
⇒ I do not know why you did not go to school.
