AS AUSTRALIA’S LARGEST AIR CONDITIONING MANUFACTURER, SEELEY INTERNATIONAL IS AGAIN DEMONSTRATING ITS INDUSTRY LEADERSHIP BY ANNOUNCING PLANS TO BRING TOGETHER LEADING EXPERTS FOR A NATIONAL ROADSHOW THAT WILL FOCUS ON A ZERO EMISSIONS FUTURE AND THE BROADER IMPLICATIONS FOR THE HVAC INDUSTRY.
National net zero roadshow
SEELEY INTERNATIONAL GROUP Manag- ing Director, Jon Seeley, said the series – Sustain- able Buildings: Preparing for a Zero Emissions Future & Implications for HVAC – provides an opportunity for industry to discuss customer challenges and requirements with sustainability experts and HVAC engineers, and gain a com- prehensive understanding of how HVAC solu- tions can be used to create valuable commercial propositions.
“There can be no doubt that the HVAC indus- try is going through a period of rapid change, and it is more critical than ever to understand the significant opportunities that are on the horizon by hearing experts outline their thoughts on looming changes in the built environment and trends that are expected to impact on our indus- try’s future,” Seeley said.
“An increasing number of customers are look- ing to the HVAC industry for sustainable op- tions, advice on green building design, optimal energy efficiency and specialised commercial solutions, and our professional development se- ries will help participants to better deliver on those expectations.
“With heating, ventilation, and air condition- ing found in virtually every contemporary Aus- tralian building, HVAC&R now accounts for ap- proximately 40% of total building energy consumption, 70% of base building consump- tion and represents more than 11% of all Aus- tralian emissions*.
“That is why it is critical for the industry to be able to confidently work with customers to de- velop energy-efficient solutions which achieve a win for their bottom line and ultimately a win for the environment,” Seeley said.
