“Husky has been involved with CCA since 2011 when it began to manufacture preforms and closures locally,” said Michael Ludemann, business manager, Husky Injection Molding Systems. “Since that time, CCA has exclusively installed Husky preform systems and closure machines into its production facilities in Australia and Indonesia.”

CCA’s Eastern Creek facility manufactures preforms and clo- sures for the company’s beverage operations in Australia, New Zealand, PNG and Fiji. The plant will produce more than 1.2 bil- lion closures and the same num- ber of preforms per annum.
The facility now houses a to- tal of five preform injection ma- chines and five closure injec- tion machines.
CCA’s presence in Western Sydney also includes its largest NSW manufacturing facility and distribution centre at Northmead, and the Seven Hills facility where it manufactures Australian Bitters Company’s Aromatic Bitters, the world’s second largest bitters brand. ■
