fects about 18 per cent of people in Australia and New Zealand.”
It is also effective against:
Chemicals and odours from cleaning agents, water damage or renovations that cause indoor air quality problems
Mould or mildew from water damage in bath- rooms or ductwork
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids or from carpets, furniture and other contributors to low IAQ scores (an asset rating that considers fea- tures of the home that make it easier for the oc- cupants to achieve good indoor air quality).
It meets the demand for severe allergy-friendly or allergy-friendly family guest accommodation, granny flats and home working environments.
“THE SYSTEM TURNS OVER THE AIR ABOUT 17 TIMES AN HOUR.”
When used in conjunction with a HVAC sys- tem, the EnviroKlenz Air System Plus turns over the air around 17 times an hour, which is equiva- lent to once every three minutes and 52 seconds.
The US-patented medical grade system has been third-party Intertek laboratory tested.
The laboratory testing is for a broad spectrum of viruses, including SARS-COV-2, and the size of viruses against which it is effective are multiple times smaller than the Covid-19 coronavirus.
EnviroKlenz is also 99.9 per cent effective in neutralisation of gram-negative bacteria (E. coli) and 99.9 per cent effective against gram- positive bacteria (Staphylococcus epidermid- is), according to the testing by Intertek Labs, which are audited/accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 or equivalent.

HELP IS AT hand for the one-in-six Australians who suffer from allergies from airborne irritants and chemicals.
The EnviroKlenz Air System Plus from Clean Stream Technologies – which kills viruses multi- ple times smaller than the Covid-19 virus – is a laboratory-validated air filtration system recent- ly introduced to Australia and New Zealand.
It is already used in Australian schools, with more than 1,000 units delivered to safeguard pu- pils in NSW public schools.
Clean Stream Technologies general manager, Scott Whittaker, said the German manufac- tured system is engineered as a major step up from mass-market air purifiers.
“It is highly effective because it goes much fur- ther than standard purifiers by combining medi- cally proven ultraviolet UVC germicidal irradiation with safe and effective earth mineral technology originally developed for the US military and still used today to destroy chemical warfare agents and toxic industrial chemicals,” he said.
The EnviroKlenz Air System Plus unit has an RRP of $A1,890.
Unlike traditional air purifiers, which often use technologies that emit by-products, Envi- roKlenz contains an air cartridge that utilises its patented earth mineral technology to not only capture, but also neutralise, chemicals and odours and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from the air.
The system also contains a medical-grade HEPA filter that removes 99.99 per cent of pollut- ants from the air without ever releasing a single harmful compound.
The system’s UVC radiation runs continuous- ly eliminating pathogens on contact. It also de- stroys viruses and bacteria with 99.9 per cent ef- ficiency.
“The system responds to our increasingly pol- luted domestic environments, including both older, musty, and newer homes, which may have strong chemical overtones after construction,” Whittaker said.
“It is effective against multiple health hazards, including hay fever (allergic rhinitis), which af-
