  HAMR COATINGS ABRASIVE LINE
FOLLOWING ALONG THE PATH OF HAMR COATINGS SUCCESSFUL MOT-
to, ‘High value, low price’, HAMR Abrasives was created to offer the industry a high quality, yet affordable abrasive line. Abrasives are a common gripe among shop owners. It can go two ways, says HAMR, one is the price per sheet or the quality, with many owners stating that the sheets just end up on the floor, unused and wasted. HAMR has listened and created a product that offers a highly economical stand point, offering up a quality long lasting disc.
The first product launched in this range is 6” sanding discs one of the most used in the industry. It comes into a highly saturated mar- ket with a product that gives many of the big name brands a run for the money. Utilising a PET film base, HAMR discs do away with tra- ditional paper backing, creating a stronger bond with the abrasive material, meaning a more durable disc, that can also be used wet, without fear of the disc falling apart. Launched 12 months ago, the customers who are using these discs have had great things to say, with many of them citing these discs are both cheaper, and higher quality than what they were previously using.
