You’ve all experienced it, perfectly good parts keep accumulating ‘out the back’ that could be used in jobs but are forgotten about. Over the years the pile just gets bigger and bigger, often total- ling tens of thousands of wasted dollars. When writing an estimate and/or or- dering parts it’s nearly impossible to re- member what’s out the back, and so it
keeps accumulating.
Not anymore. With the simple click of a
mouse any parts that can’t be returned for credit are added to iBodyshop’s inventory module which stores the part number, ve- hicle make, model, and so on. Now for the
best part, in ‘Estimating and Parts Manage- ment’ an “in stock” symbol appears against parts that you have available. It’s a great way to save money, help the environment.
Of course, it will take a bit of effort to record the existing pile of parts but it’s a one off task after which iBodyshop does the work and you save the money.

This feature is an absolute game changer. How many hours per day (add up the wages) do your staff spend receipting parts line by line? For just this reason many shops don’t receipt by line so miss out on checking dis- counts, recording returned parts, and updating floor staff that the part is

It’s free of charge to iBodyshop users and inexpensive for suppliers as they only pay a small fixed monthly fee which includes connection to every sin- gle iBodyshop customer to process an unlimited number of requests.
