ARNOTT’S LASTEST AUSSIE LEGENDS
Arnott’s have added two new flavours to its Shapes Aussie Legends range – Meat Pie and Sausage Sizzle. The two new flavours follow the success of the Vegemite and Cheese variety.
Arnott’s have also righted a wrong on the inaugural Legends Vegemite range, with the two new flavours having biscuits in the shape of Tasmania as well as the Australian continent.
“There’s no question that Aussies love a meat pie and a sausage sizzle. After the overwhelming response we received for Shapes Vegemite and Cheese last year, we wanted to expand our Shapes Aussie Legends range with more of these tastes Australians love,” said Arnott’s marketing manager, savoury, Shannon Wright.
The development of the flavours was supported by consumer research
LOCAL LILLY PILLY INSPIRES GIN
Manly Spirits Co Distillery has launched its Lilly Pilly Pink Gin, distilled with Australian native botanicals and foraged coastal flowers found on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
Lilly Pilly Pink Gin is a fruity style gin using Lilly Pilly berries, limes, hibiscus rosella flowers, blood orange and foraged Sea Fig, commonly scattered in the sand dunes and coastal gardens of the Northern Beaches.
It has zero-sugar, which allows for a balanced, not-too- sweet gin, and is the fourth addition to the Manly Spirits Co Distillery’s gin portfolio.
“All our gins always have some local foraged botanicals, and so for our pink gin, we were really inspired by the

beautiful pink sea fig (pigs face flower) and nasturtium flowers found scattered on the sand dunes of Freshwater beach near the distillery,” said Manly Spirits Co Distillery founder Vanessa Wilton.
“We wanted to craft an authentic gin, that tastes like a premium gin from all-natural ingredients.”
The Lilly Pilly Pink Gin is now available in select liquor stores and online for RRP $80.00.

AUSSIE LOLLIES TAKE LIQUID FORM
Flavoured milk brand Oak is taking a nostalgic approach to its
CADBURY’S CREAMY CARAMILK TWIRL
Cadbury’s latest flavour combination, its popular Caramilk as the swirls and curls inside its Twirl chocolate bar, has been so successful it will be a permanent addition to Cadbury’s range. It was originally only going to be available for a limited time.
Cadbury director of marketing Paul Chatfield said the Cadbury Caramilk block had generated much excitement and the Twirl bar was a new way for Cadbury fans to enjoy the chocolate. The company was thrilled at how well it was received, he said.
“We gave our chocolate makers the challenge of coming up with a new way to enjoy Caramilk chocolate, and what better way than to pair it with a coating of Australia’s favourite chocolate,” said Chatfield.
“Combining the best of both Cadbury chocolates, we hope Australians enjoy Twirl Caramilk as much as we have enjoyed creating it.”
Twirl Caramilk is available in a medium (39g) for RRP $1.99 and large bar (58g) for RRP $3.20.
