MELBOURNE HOSTS FOODCON IN 2020
For the first time in 2020, Melbourne will host the annual conference on food science and technology, FoodCon, inviting guests around the world to network and enhance their knowledge within the industry.
FoodCon 2020 will be held at the Mantra Bell City from March 23–25 and will bring together members to learn and discuss the current state of food science, as well as the recent developments and insights within research.
The conference is hosted by Prism Scientific, who has developed the event with networking opportunities for attendees with scientists and researchers from research institutes, companies, laboratories and government agencies.
The three-day event will cover a range of topics, including fundamentals and application of food science; food process, preservation, analysis and traceability; food microbiology and food borne diseases; food safety; meat science and livestock; and dairy science and fermentation.
Featuring 10 keynote presenters throughout the conference, international and local speakers from the CSIRO, RMIT University Australia, Ohio State University and the UK Quadram Institute Bioscience are among those attending FoodCon 2020.
There will also be a range of exhibitors, workshops and B2B meetings across the three days, highlighting the latest innovations in teh food science space.
