Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG) Major Service Provider
Nova Systems, together with QinetiQ and PwC, are one of four Major Service Providers selected by CASG to provide ‘Strategic Partner’, ‘Capability Partner’ and ‘Integrated Work Partner’
services, and delivering larger, longer-term, and more integrated work packages across the CASG domains. EMSES
Nova Systems’ Electromagnetic Spectrum Engineering Services (EMSES) provides subject matter expertise in the field of radiocommunications, electromagnetic spectrum and electronic warfare delivering high fidelity modelling and simulation, procurement spectrum supportability and certification, regulatory support and licensing. Projects include Counter UAS engineering risk reduction, Sea 1180 spectrum supportability, Satellite engineering support EMSO training.
TACTICAL DATA LINK OPERATIONAL SUPPORT
Nova Systems Tactical Data Link (TDL) team encompasses personnel who have a wide range of experience and diversity ensures its team has a comprehensive grasp of tactics, techniques and procedures across the maritime, Air and Land domains.
The team provides operational support to the ADF Joint Interface Control Cell to conduct TDL enabled operations.
CYBER SECURITY SUPPORT
Nova Systems supports Defence’s complex ICT based projects through the capability lifecycle to deliver cyber assured systems. This importantly has included a range of projects in the JP2008 Program.
PROJECT AIR 5431/2 - FIXED DEFENCE AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL RADARS
Nova Systems is a major subcontractor to Hensoldt for project Air/2 Fixed Defence Air Traffic Control Radars, providing project management and systems engineering support directly to Hensoldt, as well as delivering each ATC radar tower, in partnership with Idec.
LAND 129/3 – ARMY TACTICAL UNMANNED AERIAL SYSTEM
The Commonwealth of Australia requires a proven Tactical Unmanned Aerial System (TUAS) mission and support system. The Land 129/3 contract was established to provide the delivery
of the Integrator UAS together with accompanying Ground Systems, Prime Systems Integrator services, and ongoing support. Nova Systems supports Insitu Pacific’sprogram through the provision of specialist engineering expertise and services. AUSTRALIAN SPACE AGENCY - SPACE LAUNCH
Nova Systems is a Turnkey Service Technical Advisor to the Australian Space Agency for Australian Launch Permits and Launch Facility Licences. Nova has evaluated multiple applications and provided Launch Safety Officer on-site live expertise for
the July 2022 NASA Sounding Rocket Launch Campaign. Nova Systems has provided space regulatory requirements and implementation advice to the ADF, and has been appointed as
Risk Advisor to the Norwegian Space Agency for commercial operations at Andoya.

Nova Systems continues to support the CoA Project Office
after six years.
Regional Maintenance Provider - North East
Nova Systems is supporting Norsta Maritime as the inaugural Regional Maintenance Provider providing maintenance of RAN ships in the Cairns region, commencing with the Evolved Cape Class Patrol boats. Nova provides Engineering, Scheduling
and Integrated Data Environment expertise in a class-agnostic maintenance provider under Plan Galileo.
LAND FORCE MODERNISATION
Nova Systems is supporting Army on its path to modernise the Land Force, noticeably in support of the Test and Evaluation in L3025/1, L121 Phase 3A, 3B, 4 and 5B, JP2097/1B, L2110/1B, L2072/2B, L8410/1, Land 400 phase 3 and 4, Land Forces Forward Staging and Urban Operations Live Firing (UOLF). It provides capability and support to Army through the planning, conduct and reporting of Land trials and operational support to LTEA via policies, guidelines, SOPs and reporting requirements in the conduct of Defence T&E.
TacPlanner (UHF SATCOM Planning and Management Tool)
Nova Systems, working with Project JP2008/5A and CIOG, continue to develop and support a UHF SATCOM Planning
and Management Tool enabling communication planning, Schedule and Track Communication requests, optimisation of satellite resources, and to troubleshoot and compare communications links. JICC SERVICES
Nova Systems, supporting Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) are providing Joint Interface Control Cell subject matter experts in support of Tactical Link capabilities within the ADF.
JETSTREAM GEOSPATIAL PLATFORM
Nova Systems is delivering technology services to Project DEF2064 for the development and support of a cloud hosted unclassified geospatial capability for the Australian Geospatial-Intelligence Organisation (AGO).
