Stay cool this summer with innovative WH series
SUMMER IS RIGHT around the corner and LG Electronics Australia (LG) will help Aussies keep their cool as things heat up, with the 2018 LG WH air conditioning series.
“LG is at the forefront of air conditioning in- novation and design, and the LG WH series is a testament to this encapsulating LG’s ethos of making life good by connecting with the real needs and desires of consumers and innovating around them,” said Bruce Leigh, marketing man- ager for air conditioning at LG Australia.
Gone are the days of lost remotes falling down the side of the sofa or under the bed. Customers can program their air conditioner and set a pre- ferred temperature with the LG Smart ThinQ app. The in-built Wi-Fi coupled with the LG Smart ThinQ app provides access and control of your air conditioner through a compatible smartphone*, even when you’re not at home. Switch on your air con before you leave the beach or your workplace, and come home to comfort.
Stay in control of your energy consumption, with the LG Smart ThinQ app providing real- time and weekly/monthly energy usage, as well as alerts for when energy consumption is about to reach a pre-set limit. The Active Energy Con- trol feature also allows users to cap the energy consumption of their air-conditioning unit, of- fering three levels of power reduction for individ- ual energy-saving needs.
Staying inside and keeping cool during those over-heated days is ideal but homes can con- tain many harmful microscopic adhering par- ticles that can adversely affect your health. For families suffering from summer allergies, LG’s WH Series can help those affected breathe eas-

ier with the Plasmaster Ioniser Plus and its Au- tocleaning features. The Plasmaster Ioniser Plus works by infusing the air with over three million ions to reduce microscopic particles. This sterilises over 99 per cent of adhering bac- teria and deodorises the air.
With Plasmaster Autocleaning, the interior of the air conditioner is maintained by drying off the heat exchanger, then the interior is sterilised once more with Plasmaster ions to help mini- mise unwanted mould and odours. LG’s WH Se- ries has been designed to keep household air cleaner, whilst also keeping users cool in sum- mer, and warm in winter.
LG passionately believes in improving the
day-to-day lives of Australians through its forward-thinking air conditioning technolo- gy, with the WH Series containing some of LG’s most innovative technology yet. Enjoy peace of mind when it comes to reliability, thanks to a 10-year inverter compressor parts warranty, which means going home to com- fort for many years to come.
The LG WH Series of air conditioning prod- ucts are available in specialised dealers across Australia. For more details, please visit: https:// www.lg.com/au/split-system-air-conditioner

Next generation RBX
THE ROUGHINBOX RBX-3 now features five lineset entry ports for convenience, and offers bottom and side condensate drain outlets to re- duce installation time.
Marketair Incorporated, a supplier of spe- cialized HVAC industry components and ac- cessories, introduces the RoughinBox RBX-3, a versatile redesign of the original RoughinBox for minisplit/VRF/VRV applications. The RBX-3 now includes an extra lineset port and accommodates both side and bottom drain configurations.
The patented RBX-3-MP-NC (Multiple Port- New Construction) is a third generation
RoughinBox combining the bottom drain outlet of the RBX-1 and the side outlet of the RBX-2, which offers total installation flexibility for con- tractors and reduced sku’s for wholesalers. The additional lineset port brings the total to five (two on top, one on each side, and one on the bot- tom) which can now accommodate lineset entry from any direction.
The RBX-3 also features four redesigned mounting brackets that are pre notched for use with metal studs, thereby eliminating the need to modify the metal studs during instal- lation, which was a characteristic of the previ- ousmodels.
