2020 WINNERS
               A WORD FROM OUR SPONSORS
IT’S FANTASTIC THAT SO MANY INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS CARE DEEPLY ABOUT BEING INVOLVED IN RECOGNISING THE SKILL, DETERMINATION AND HARD WORK THAT SO MANY COLLISION REPAIRERS DISPLAY.
A
PAINT&PANEL NOVEMBER / DECEMBER 2021
                       HUGE THANK YOU FROM
Paint & Panel on behalf of the industry to all of the sponsors who make this
omprehensive industry rec- ognition program possible. An especially big shout out to our Plati- num and Gold sponsors. Not only do they contribute sponsorship money but they are also involved in shaping the direction of the awards program, promoting it to their customers and
nominating shops.
We value and are grateful for their in-
put, continuing support and enthusiasm.

After the challenges of last year and pulling off a great virtual awards event we thought it would be all back to nor- mal this year. Alas, it wasn’t to be and I know a lot of NSW and VIC shops in particular have done it hard for a pro- longed period of time. My hats are off to you and we are out the other side.
Catching up with repairers via Zoom or phone it has been heartening to hear and see how the shops have been

working their way through the COVID challenges presented to them. With some branching out to related busi- nesses such as mechanical or tyres and others using the time wisely to im- prove processes and backend efficien- cy the standard of shops has risen an- other notch this year. Some of the innovation that has been developed around the country, whether its inter- action with insurers or with the actual customer is fantastic. It is also won- derful to be able to recognise more country shops this year as we expand the awards and I look forward to (fin- gers crossed) a HUGE event next year where we can all get together and cel- ebrate together.
As a five year sponsor of the Awards I really do think it’s a fantastic way to ac- knowledge the hard working efforts around the country of those shops who go above and beyond. The videos that we see of the winners really highlight the blood sweat and tears that have gone in, not just this year, but over the years to make themselves a sustainable busi- ness for the future. As we celebrate our own 20 years I can certainly relate to knowing what it takes to achieve suc- cess in a tough environment. I’d really encourage everyone to be in on the awards for next year if you haven’t been involved, as an awards season in person will be fantastic! A big congratulations to all this year’s winners.
