  B&A MOTOR BODY REPAIRS
staffed by a team that seems happy and productive working at a family firm.
I often think that for many folk of Italian extraction a love of cars is simply hard coded into the DNA right along side an amazing way with coffee beans. The Mazzeo’s passion for cars is displayed loud and proud in the classic car show- room front of house and is funnelled into restoring cars to pre-accident condition, just as the OEM states. That they are able to communicate this in a business-like fashion is evidenced by the plethora of OEM approvals: Subaru, Lexus, Tesla, GM, Volkswagen and the latest addition, BMW.
SHOP STATS
THERE ARE SOME ELITE BODYSHOPS IN THIS COUNTRY THAT I WOULD PICK TO INSPIRE YOUNGSTERS TO JOIN THE INDUSTRY AND TO CHANGE THEIR PARENTS’ PERCEPTION OF WHAT A ‘PANEL SHOP’ LOOKS LIKE AND CONVINCE THEM THAT IT’S A GREAT WORK ENVIRONMENT.
ES, YOU’VE GUESSED IT B&A
Motor Body Repairs in Clay- ton, Victoria is one of them.
This is a business whose motto is: “family values, corpo- rate structure” and it has plenty of family skin in the game, Dominic and his cousin Tony Mazzeo have taken the helm over from their dads Bill and Alfredo who founded the business
back in 1974.
Since starting out from a tiny lube bay
behind their service station in Clayton, the family has built the business up in to a series of huge, extremely well equipped and organised workshops, genuinely state-of-the-art customer facilities
