This repair facility is a classic example
of small space and maximum output, achieved by being ahead of the game and utilising the best and most effective
technology, including an EV charger to complement that all important customer focus.
one of the first repairers in NSW to achieve I-CAR Gold, he is MTA Green Stamp certi- fied and was the first repairer in NSW to become AMBRA shop graded and achieved the highest accreditation level 4 and one of the first to put in an electric car charger. There’s also a a trophy cabinet with some previous Bodyshop Awards.
It’s not a large shop and Myers has to uti- lise every centimetre of space and yet it still looks spacious. There’s an aluminium area with electric curtains that houses a Spanesi 106 alignment and measuring system, next door to it is a Car-O-Liner. All of the equip- ment is top drawer, clean and neatly stored. There’s a mezzanine level for parts storage.
The paint shop is above the panel shop but has its own entrance from the rear of the building. Lowbake designed the paint shop again maximising space and it has fantastic lighting. The booth has an IR cur-
ing arch and there’s an overhead gantry system in the prep bays so that the Spec- tratek UV unit can be employed anywhere it is needed. Behind the paintshop is a de- tailing bay. There’s more storage hidden away in other locations. There’s an estima- tors office by the detailing bay.
Myers enjoys a great relationship with his work providers who allow him to con- centrate producing the quality repairs that the local community demands for their thoroughbred motors.
Len Hollis has a 4.9 Google rating from over 100 reviews and his customers posi- tively gush about the service and quali-
ty of repairs. It’s not for nothing that
he has been a previous winner of the
Best Customer Experience Award. Myers is modest about his achieve- ments and clearly genuinely passionate about his business.
In another NSW first he joined Car Craft and is now the Chairman of the NSW Met- ro branch. He is also looking to bring on ‘next gen’ with a female first year paint ap- prentice who, he says, is doing really well.
Myers also ticks all the boxes in terms of marketing the business as well. There’s the high quality website optimised for Google ranking, Google business, Facebook and LinkedIn. Len Hollis is also OEM approved for Toyota and GM.
