    Airmaster acquires fire services
AIRMASTER, WHICH IS a member of the Dai- kin Group of Companies, has entered into an agreement to acquire fire protection services company, Specialised Fire Protection.
Through this acquisition, which was an- nounced yesterday, Airmaster will build upon its portfolio of specialist in-house knowledge and expertise in fire services, while continuing to provide the usual high level of service provided to customers.
Airmaster will offer extensive career path op- portunities to existing Specialised Fire Protec- tion employees.
With over 50 years of combined experience, and a customer base that includes BHP Billiton, Uni- versity of Melbourne, Federation Square and RMIT University, Specialised Fire Protection has built a strong reputation in the industry for being a one- stop-shop delivering all aspects of fire protection projects from design through to installation.
By leveraging this extensive experience along with 33 years in business across Australia and New Zealand, Airmaster will add to its current number of fully-trained and qualified fire special- ists and technicians to deliver an industry-lead- ing fire and essential services solutions offering.
Airmaster CEO, Noel Courtney, said he is look- ing forward to the growth opportunities that the
acquisition provides, and is excited to welcome Specialised Fire Protection to the Airmaster family. “Since 1988, we have developed and formed a strong team with considerable knowl- edge and experience in the technical services and facilities management industry,” he said.

Airmaster Fire managing director, Simon Rickard, said he is enthusiastic about what Spe- cialised Fire Protection employees bring to Air- master by way of their skills and knowledge.

The acquisition will be formally recognised on 1 April 2021.
Mohtadi, and the 51 current Specialised Fire Pro- tection employees will become Airmaster employ- ees, while continuing to operate from their current premises in Coburg, in Melbourne's inner north.
Airmaster has 13 branches and 900-plus em- ployees across Australia and New Zealand.
