he Messe Duesseldorf managing director says visitors to drupa next year can expect
to enjoy more educational sessions, expert insights,
and supporting functions,
as well as a greater emphasis on networking activities and gatherings, as the owner of the gigantic exhibition centre invests €140m in upgrades.
The managing director, Wolfram Diener, was in Australia and New Zealand this month to highlight developments at the Messe Centre, and to introduce the new local Messe agent, Gaby Schwager, to the market.
Those upgrades include the knocking down of halls 1 and 2,

region sales boss Thomas Frank were in Australia, to assess the market, explain the Masterwork (MK) investment, and introduce Dierk Wissmann as the new Mr Gallus ANZ.
Ruesch said the MK investment was a permanent partnership, and meant that for Heidelberg customers they could buy the Chinese manufactured finishing equipment with confidence, knowing it was manufactured to Heidelberg standard.
