Arnold was one of the early guinea pigs for the 1Q1 workshop management system and is a huge fan for running this high volume, multi-tiered business. The business is constantly analysing the data to see if any aspect of the process can be fine tuned to shave valuable min- utes off overall cycle time.
While Arnold’s insurance partners keep an eagle eye on customer satisfac- tion, he is proud of his Google rating of 4.6 from over 100 reviews.
The business is very active on social media but also in the local community. “We market the various businesses dif- ferently depending on the target market. Tyres and mechanical are marketed B2C while the majority of our effort for the accident repair shop is B2B,” he says. The company also has a very slick, well designed website.
With an eye to the future, there are apprentices on the shop floor. “Our fo-
cus for attracting the next generation is around changing the perception of what a collision repair business is.”
On our virtual tour of the shop it still looked as good as it did when we visited two days after the grand opening back in 2017. Truly an excellent business.
