T’S FAIR TO SAY THAT FRED
Sleman has built up a head
of steam and its all systems go at 5 Star Panels in Tul-
lamarine.
He has kicked an extraordinary
amount to goals in a year where the keeper line up has been severe.
Firstly, he has taken on a new shed which has pretty much doubled his ca- pacity. He’s won a new five year con- tract from IAG and been a pioneer in the recalibration field, being one of the first independents to invest in cali-
bration equipment and setting up a company that will also service nearby businesses. That’s if it isn’t too busy with all cars on site with the now hugely increased capacity.
Covid has been particularly unkind to a business practically in the airport that had a healthy stream of work from rental companies such as Avis and Budget. He launched the recalibration service just before the arduous Victori- an lockdown. But Sleman has soldiered on, spent the lockdown improving the business, fettling floors and installing
