ANDREW SWIFT, GEMINI
MELVILLE AMA GROUP WA
Andrew Swift moved to Perth and joined AMA in August 2013 having run a large, successful panel shop in the UK. He joined Gemini Melville site as a produc- tion manager and brought invaluable experience and know-how to the busi- ness. Gemini Melville is an exclusive IAG, the relationship and mutual respect between insurer and manager has al- ways been exemplary. Andrew is very aware of insurer expectations, KPIs and service level agreements. He has always delivered a great product and cost result to both insurer and company.
The way Andrew looks after his staff is reflected in the length of time mem- bers of his team remain on site. He has encouraged and welcomed all into his shop — no matter what nationality, gen- der, age or experience. He has brought young people through the business over the years with many apprenticeships completed at Melville. Another aspect of Andrew’s professionalism is his willing- ness to mentor younger lesser experi- enced managers.
BENJAMIN STEWART, STYLEMASTER PANELS, VIC Ben, who is the son of owner Phillip
Stewart, manages all the staff and the workflow of the business. He is respon- sible for quoting and ordering parts from suppliers and overseeing the organisa- tion of consumables for the workshop.
As a qualified refinish technician Ben is very particular about the quality of work provided at Stylemaster Panels. He has completed further training through I-Car and Volvo Australia.
Ben started work at Stylemaster as an apprentice back in 2001. He completed his apprenticeship in 2005 and remained as head refinish technician until 2011.
Ben then moved into the office to learn how to quote and manage the workflow of the business. As manager
