“In summary, SOTEC is a hybrid ver- sion of one of Army’s better-known train- ing organisations, like the Combined Arms Training Centre or the Army Logis- tics Training Centre, but we are a smaller organisation and one that has other roles and responsibilities that are specific to the Special Operations mission,” Commander SOTEC added.
“We’re still on the journey of develop- ing and implementing the vision that both MAJGEN Sengelman (the previous SOCAUST) and MAJGEN Findlay have for the organisation, which is to be that pan-command training centre, but we’re moving out on it and we have a range of major initiatives, building on the platform and framework that the SFTC presented us, across a range of functions.”
