Reverse cycle splits updated
FUJITSU GENERAL HAS updated its Lifestyle range of reverse cycle wall mounted split sys- tems with a sleek and smooth finish for seamless integration into contemporary homes.
The ASTG18/22/24KMTC models feature a slimmer design to previous Fujitsu General Life- style models by 30mm in depth, providing a less obtrusive design, while a matte finish and a smooth edge creates a modern aesthetic to blend into any room’s interior.
The Lifestyle range is Fujitsu General’s most efficient and ASTG18/22/24KMTC units have an improved star rating for heating mode, while ASTG18KMTC has an improved star rating in cooling mode.
An upgraded heat exchanger has improved heat exchange efficiency significantly and a large cross flow fan allows efficient air volume to be obtained at a low power.
Models feature a slimmer design and matte finish.
Fujitsu General’s intelligent Human Sensor Control, detects movement of people within a room to deliver optimum efficiency and temper- ature control, switching to energy saving opera- tion when no movement is detected in the room after 20 minutes.
When movement is detected within the room, the air conditioning unit reverts to its previous set- ting. Other energy management features include Economy Mode and programable weekly timers.
The apple catechin filter maintains indoor air quality. Fine dust, invisible mould spores and harmful microorganisms are absorbed onto the filter by static electricity and further growth is inhibited and deactivated by the polyphenol in- gredient extracted from apples.
Fujitsu General Lifestyle reverse cycle wall mounted split system range is available in a wide variety of sizes to suit almost all requirements.

MHIAA tops customer satisfaction ratings
MITSUBISHI HEAVY INDUSTRIES Air-Condi- tioners Australia (MHIAA) has done it again win- ning the 2019 Canstar Blue Most Satisfied Custom- er Award in the 2019 Air Conditioners category.
This accolade follows the announcement of MHIAA winning CHOICE’s Best Brand award in late 2018 as well as its AvantiPLUS split sys- tem receiving the Gold Good Design Award in July this year.
As Australia’s most trusted comparison web site, Canstar Blue was born out of the prominent Canstar brand in 2010 and is focused on consum- er goods across 150-plus categories.
The findings are based on independent, profes- sional customer satisfaction research and ratings as well as in-house expert research and ratings.
Receiving 5-stars for overall satisfaction, functionality, reliability, quietness and 4-stars for ease of use and value for money, MHIAA was the only brand in the Air Conditioners category to re- ceive five stars for four out of the
six categories.
Scoring was based on wall mount-
ed split system AC units as well as ducted AC units.
This latest award, in conjunction with previous honours, both nation- ally and internally, reflects the brands continued commitment to delivering quiet yet high performing air-conditioning solutions for Aussie homes, according to the company's managing director, Mr Yuji.
Scoring was based on wall mounted split system AC units as well as ducted AC units.
“This award also strengthens the brand’s im- age as a reliable supplier of heating and cooling solutions within the Australian market; receiving this accolade cements our commitment to quali- ty, technology and customer service,” he said.
“As a customer-centric organisation, we are honoured to have received this Canstar Blue award. At MHIAA, we pride ourselves on deliver- ing on our promises to deliver premium products to the market and giving consumers exactly what they need.”
As a brand built to outlast and outperform, Mr Ito said that beyond quality, MHIAA is dedicated to ensuring its high level of service stands out.
“At MHIAA, we believe in creating long-lasting relationships with our customers. From finding the perfect AC unit, to installation and services throughout its lifetime, by investing in our ser- vice support, we ensure that our superior prod- ucts are backed by service excellence,” he said.
“At Mitsubishi Heavy Industries we are com- mitted to ensuring that our products are de- signed and developed in-line with both interna- tional standards and with Australian consumers as top-of-mind.
We’d like to thank Canstar Blue and Australi- an consumers for their recognition and belief in our brand as it demonstrates our ongoing com- mitment to delivering the best products to the Australian Market.”
