You will be surprised byt what happens when you ask people to write a recommendation for you on LinkedIn. First, they’ll remember that you helped them or did some- thing for them. Second, that recommendation will appear on your profile, boosting your LinkedIn ranking, and in- creasing the likelihood of someone else looking for your business, making a buying decision with you.
And most importantly, their recommendation will appear on their profile, reaching their current network. Surprising- ly, you’ll get exposure to their current network, which can lead to you getting business just from the recommendation.
4GROW YOUR NETWORK
This requires a bit of leg work, but is totally worth the effort. If you just spend 30 minutes a day sending 30 connec- tion requests to key decision makers that can refer you busi- ness, for instance, you are expanding your network with the right people every single day. You’ll find that business then just comes your way.

EVERY WEEK
Simply sharing an interesting link to a relevant article, be- fore and after photos of a recent job, or sharing a video of something that made you smile can keep you “top of mind” for decision makers. The more you share about your busi- ness, the more likely it is people will see what you can do and choose you. The organic reach on LinkedIn is undoubt- edly the best social media platform available today. You can get in contact with key decision makers within minutes. If you are serious about growing your business, spending two to three hours a week, actively connecting and posting on LinkedIn can pay big returns to your business.
