TRADIEBOT INDUSTRIES HAS OFFICIAL-
ly launched its Augmented Reality soft- ware application WorxAR.
The cutting-edge innovation will al- low latest release information to be de- livered to users at the touch of their fin- gertips via smart devices such as phones and tablets.
Augmented Reality (AR) is the technol- ogy currently making a big impact with industrial applications allowing techni- cians to perform service and repairs by accessing the latest digital repair process- es and service manuals. The technology is also being used for training, providing a new level of digital knowledge that has not been seen before.
Mario Dimovski, founder of Tradiebot said: "The response by people attending the [Collision Repair] Expo and witness- ing the technology first hand was one of excitement and amazement that such a digital tool was now available."
Dimovski stated that having such tech- nology on offer will be a game changer. Context-relevant information can now be delivered in an on-the-job interactive way that is so intuitive and effortless for end users to assist in repairs, service, mainte- nance and training.
This digital tool is also the perfect cata- lyst to help attract a new breed of appren- tices to the trade that might be looking for a more tech focused career combined with hands on skills.
Kevin Woolerton, director of mar- keting at PPG who attended the Expo and experienced the innovative soft- ware by Tradiebot first hand said: “This is the next evolution in how in- formation is offered and a real boost to our industry that is struggling to maintain an upskilled workforce. This technology will allow the upskill of future technicians whilst also pro- viding knowledge to technicians in digital format.”
Tradiebot is fielding expressions of interest from a broad range of potential automotive based customers from across the world that could utilise this software technology for their own prod- ucts and services.
The profile of users is extremally broad from OEM, training providers to machin- ery and equipment manufacturers from around the world wanting to turn their current paper-based manuals and pro- cesses into a digital interactive plat- form like WorxAR.
GRANTS FOR WOMEN IN AUTOMOTIVE
Women & Leadership Australia is administering a national initiative to support the development of female leaders across Australia’s automotive sector.
The initiative is providing women with grants of between $3,000 and $7,000 to enable participation in a range of leadership development programs.
The scholarship funding is offered with the specific intent of providing powerful and effective development opportunities for automotive sector women; however the funding is strictly limited and has to be allocated prior to the end of this financial year.

New Zealand Factoring Company Ltd was successfully launched during the last couple of weeks at the NZ Collision Repair Association’s Roadshows.
AFC LAUNCHES IN NEW ZEALAND
After visits to New Zealand during 2018 by Rael Ross, fellow director Walter Rapoport of Australian Factoring Company presented to over 200 repairers.
New Zealand’s automotive repair industry had not had the benefit of single invoice factoring that Australian shops have been used to for many years. The extremely competitive sector in New Zealand will allow shops the scope for further growth with the new option of a reliable and dependant cash flow offered by NZFC.
New Zealand Factoring Company will also be offering factoring of commercial invoices.

Auto & General Insurance, has been awarded I-CAR Gold Class Insurer status.
