MEASURE FOR MEASURE
IN TERMS OF ENSURING A CUSTOMER'S CAR IS REPAIRED TO PRE-ACCIDENT CONDITION AND PROVING THAT YOU HAVE UNDERTAKEN THE CORRECT REPAIR, MEASURING SYSTEMS HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE IMPORTANT. THERE ARE A NUMBER OF MEASURING AND DAMAGE DIAGNOSTIC DEVICES ON THE MARKET. WHAT YOU NEED TO CHECK IS THE ALL OF THE VEHICLE DATA THAT YOU NEED IS INCLUDED IN THE DEVICE YOU BUY. ALL OF THESE MEASURING SYSTEMS CAN BE USED WITH ANY BENCH.
SPANESI TOUCH
Touch, available from Maks Equipment, is a universal electronic measuring system which allows you to diagnose structural damage in just a few minutes. By employing measuring probes of different lengths, Touch can reach the most complex measurement points of the vehicle body, including external and mechanical parts. During diagnostic procedures, the vehicle damage is analysed to create an accurate repair plan. The innovative ‘follow me’ kit guides the user, in real time to align measured points correctly. It also helps with how to carry out the repair and documents the repair.
• Fast equipment positioning
• Can be used with all equipment on or off bench
• Easy to use with comprehensive software
• Database contains all the main points of chassis
and suspension
• Can be customised
• Use on assembled or disassembled vehicle
• Simple diagnosis and certification printout

CAR-O-LINER CAR-O-TRONTIC VISION X3
This world-leading measuring system can be retrofitted to any existing bench.
A database of over 13,200 vehicles forms the core of the Vision product. The database contains a comprehensive data set of measuring points, drawings
and photos of each vehicle.
Car-O-Liner’s close ties with vehicle manufacturers around the world means
that data on newly released cars, trucks and SUVs are on the database as soon as these hit the dealer showroom.
Vision’s Measuring Slide, a central component of this system has sensors in each joint (and a measuring head underneath), which wirelessly communicate real-time measurement data three times a second.
A built-in remote control capability allows the user to manage the entire measuring process, without having to be in front of a computer. The entire repair process is doc- umented in pictures, with the ability to send text and email files to insurance compa- nies directly from within the software.
Extremely easy to use, the user works with only two buttons.
ASP allows the system to always select the right measuring point. Automatic centring and measuring capabilities, with user-friendly menus and access to the unique Infocenter, means there is less chance of operator error.
Vision’s database includes measurements of the lowerbody, with mechanics in and out, the upperbody (not for full frame vehicles) and point-to-point (P2P) for both unibody and full-frame vehicles.
There’s a free app for Vision available from the Car-O-Liner website.
