CAPTAIN LETITIA VAN STRALEN OF ROYAL AUSTRALIAN NAVY
Throughout 2019, Tish performed the role of Director Navy People and Career Management Agency. During her tenure, Tish has completely transformed the way Navy People and Career Management Agency conducts their business, imploring her staff to engage with all people and work out the best possible solution for the individual, the team and broader Navy. She has personally been involved with resolving numerous Career Management issues across Navy; including the retention of countless individuals through her unwavering commitment to our people and always asking the question; why not? This includes finding solutions to enable individuals to proceed on promotion courses while balancing single parenting, co-parenting and complex family circumstances.
KELLY PONIRIS OF JLL
Since joining JLL in early 2018, Kelly has excelled in every area of client-side project management, bringing a wealth of experience working with Defence Housing Australia. Her knowledge of the complexities of delivering Defence projects and her understanding of Defence personnel requirements enables Kelly to connect on a personal level with both stakeholders and user groups. The Estate Works Program requires a fine balancing act between delivering the maintenance and sustainability remit of the program and tending to user group needs and wishes. Kelly empathises with the user group while clearly articulating what realistically can be achieved within the realms of the program. This can mean having difficult conversations, but she always goes above and beyond to provide the best outcomes for all concerned – a vital quality in client-side project management.
ROSEMARY GAUCI OF CAPABILITY ACQUISITION AND SUSTAINMENT GROUP
Rosemary Gauci is the Assistant Secretary Critical Systems. In 2019 Rosemary’s portfolio included the acquisition and sustainment of over 20 complex projects and products in service in Joint, Maritime, Land and Cyber domain capability programs with all service branches. As the acting Branch Head in 2019, she was responsible for recovering the delivery of a challenged Information Technology project. She restructured the governance of the project, negotiated new scope and schedule, then rebuilt confidence with the Defence customer through close engagement, monitoring and reporting. In addition to a successful project outcome, the process built a strong and ongoing relationship with the Defence customer that continues to benefit existing projects.
GEORGINA RICHTERS OF PRICEWATERHOUSECOOPERS
Georgina leads PwC’s Indigenous Consulting practice in Queensland, having previously worked in leadership roles in the private (resources), public (local, State and Australian governments) and not for profit sectors. Georgina has over 20 years’ experience working in Indigenous affairs at national, state, local and community levels. Georgina has a strong record of involvement in strategically planning and developing business improvements, and implementing the strategic direction and thinking of organisations.
KATRINA BINOTTO OF JET AVIATION
Based at East Sale Victoria, Ms Katrina Binotto is the General Manager B300 Programs, and provides Senior Executive Manager accountability to all ADF B300 Programme activities. This encompasses Aircraft Maintenance Organisation and design activities across 12 Aircraft with different configurations, supporting 32 Squadron deliverables across multiple roles. She led her team through a period of transition in 2019 that saw massive changes for both CASG and RAAF as stakeholders with no loss of capability.

Sharon was one of the founders of BAE Systems’ Global Access Program in 2012, in response to the
