HOW I DID IT
The essential isolation and aloneness that can be a part of everyday life and the consolation found in the simple beauty of
a sunset struck me on a hill climb at the end of an autumn day. I set the camera on a timer and became my own model.

Walking around Sydney’s Cockatoo Island, one can’t help but feel a sense of what was. My daughter walked ahead of me alone in her thoughts, reflecting on the island’s cruel convict past.
