E HAVE SOME AMAZING EVENTS
at Paint & Panel, though we do say so ourselves, but my favourite one of the year – ok joint favourite because the awards night is awesome – is our Women in Colli- sion seminar and awards. Why? Because it is so interactive, so positive and every-
one there always has a great time.
Given the state of play pandemic-wise at the time of writing we have taken the deci- sion to postpone the event until February 2022, when we fervently hope that we will be over 80% vaccinated and public gather-
ings can take place safely once more. Another fantastic aspect of this pro- gram is how many different entities in the industry want to support it. We have had a couple of meetings with our fabu- lous sponsors and they have been so en- gaged in how we can make the event even more awesome than in previous years and what, other than the recogni- tion by peers and the physical award, we can present to the winners. All the spon-
sors are pitching in extra goodies for the 10 amazing women including training and development. The winners will be chosen by all of last year’s winners.
The 2021 Women in Collision Awards and Seminar are sponsored by Glasurit/ BASF, iBodyshop, Parts Check, General Motors, Axalta, 3M, GM Certified Colli- sion Repair Network and Wallaby Crash Supplies. Let’s hear why they feel it’s im- portant to recognise and acknowledge the vital and indispensable role women play in the collision repair industry.
