• Owner/manager
• Parts manager
• Technician/estimator

Winners will be profiled in the mag- azine and presented their awards tro- phy at the Women in Collision seminar early next year. The closed Women in Collision Facebook group now has over 280 members who regularly share knowledge and opinions – all women in the industry are welcome to join.
The seminar is all about networking and connecting with others in the in- dustry. We’ll start with lunch and then hear from a line up of inspirational speakers which includes Andrea Mc- Carthy from McCarthy Panel Works in Mackay and the VACC’s Kathy Zdravevski, Industry Policy Advisor who has a background in the insur- ance industry. After enjoying and learning from our presenters we’ll get on with presenting the awards, which will be followed by drinks and nibbles.
NOMINATED BEFORE?
If you have nominated someone before and they were not selected as a win- ner, please nominate again. It’s a dif- ferent panel of judges each year and maybe you just needed to add a bit more detail to the Survey Monkey judging form. The act of nominating your team member is what counts so that they know they are valued. We will publish all the names of the wom- en nominated.
HOW CAN I MAKE MY
NOMINATION STAND OUT?
The more detail you put about why your nominee deserves to win and what they add to your business the better. We’re not for a novel but a few lines are un- likely to sway the judges. If you aren’t great at expressing yourself (I can’t run a collision business, just saying) maybe ask someone who is to write the nomination for you.
