 K-Flex inks distribution
deal with RectorSeal
RECTORSEAL HAS BEEN NAMED AN APPROVED MASTER DISTRIBUTOR FOR K-FLEX, ONE OF THE HVACR INDUSTRY’S LARGEST MANUFACTURERS
OF REFRIGERANT LINESET INSULATION AND TAPES FOR COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL AIR CONDITIONING AND REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS.
THE DISTRIBUTION RELATIONSHIP will initially comprise of three top- selling product lines manufactured by K-Flex, a 31-year-old, family-owned business with 13 international plants and a marketing reach into 43 countries.
RectorSeal will distribute Titan, Foam Tape and Cork Tape.
All three products and their energy-saving thermal dynamic characteristics comply with the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC) and International Residential Code (IRC).
K-Flex’s product lines complement Rector- Seal’s ductless mini-split, VRF/VRV and conven- tional air conditioning accessories.
North American director of sales at K-Flex, Matt Hair, said RectorSeal has an excellent dis- tribution footprint.
“They presented an exciting vision for our products’ sales growth that would benefit our company as well as the industry,” Hair said.
“RectorSeal’s demonstrated success as a pro- vider of comprehensive line of accessories leads wholesalers and contractors to their website to find products, such as lineset insulation and tapes.”
RectorSeal’s vice president for sales and mar- keting, Jeff Underwood, said this relationship ex- pands the company’s product line.
“But more importantly it allows our independ- ent distributors to now execute smaller quanti- ties of K-Flex within their Rectorseal orders without incurring large inventories and separate freight charges,” he said.
“Our ultimate goal is to make it easy for dis- tributors to do business with us.”
The three product lines are the inaugurating foundation for the partnering, but K-Flex sees great potential in RectorSeal adding more of K- Flex’s existing and in-development product lines in the future.
