The Ultrasuite is built to meet all ASHRAE 170 and NFPA 90A requirements.
Operating room diffuser system
PRICE INDUSTRIES’ ULTRASUITE system combines hospital grade LED lighting with pre- cision equalized laminar airflow diffusers to eliminate the traditional “light ring” and open valuable ceiling space for surgical equipment, all while optimizing contaminant removal from the surgical zone.
Incorporating LED lighting directly within each laminar flow diffuser allows lighting to be located directly above the surgical table, im- proving visibility and reducing shadows within the surgical zone. Flexible dimming control and optional green lighting facilitate improved visibility of flat panel displays for non-invasive surgeries by enhancing images and eliminating the glare that traditional overhead white lights cast on monitors.
The Ultrasuite ships in large, factory-assem- bled sections and leverages quick-connect wir- ing and a 12 in. low profile common plenum to significantly reduce the number of inlets and ductwork – and therefore installation time – re- quired. LED drivers are housed in a remotely mounted control enclosure, providing easy ac- cess for maintenance and replacement.
The high quality and long-lasting LED lights are IP67 rated to seal out dust and liquid and are rated at 80% of original brightness for 60,000 hours.
The Ultrasuite is built to meet all ASHRAE 170 and NFPA 90A requirements and addresses sev- eral UL listing categories.

Aspen Pumps acquires Sky Refrigeration
THE ASPEN PUMPS Group has acquired Melbourne-based HVACR component man- ufacturer and supplier, Sky Refrigeration.
Founded in 2010, Sky Refrigeration was cre- ated by Pete and Bernadette Schey, who de- veloped the business to meet demand for in- novative HVACR components.
Teamwork and a dynamic work ethic has made Sky Refrigera- tion’s innovative products some of the most sought af-
ter in Australia.
Aspen Pumps, one of the
largest manufacturers and suppliers of HVAC/R equip- ment and accessories in the UK, has a track record of in- vesting in successful busi- nesses to take them to the next level.
Founded in 1992, Aspen Pumps
was started by three engineers who de- veloped the first Peristaltic pump, after realis- ing the need for a reliable way to remove con- densate water from AC systems. From these humble beginnings, the company now boasts companies across 4 continents, including As- pen Asia Pacific in Lonsdale, Australia.
Announcing the deal yesterday, Schey said it wasn’t really planned.
“The prospect of joining Aspen Pumps Group came out of the blue, but we had al- ways enjoyed bouncing idea off the guys at Aspen and getting new views of the market,” he said.
“After some discussion, we realised that this was an opportunity to grow the business and Aspen was the perfect partner.

The company sells to over 100 countries through a network of wholesalers and is always looking for opportu-
nities to grow its product portfolios.
Aspen Pumps Group CEO, Adrian Thomp- son, said the focus will be on creating oppor-
tunities for Australian customers.
“We believe strongly in growing our cus-
tomers businesses by creating opportunities with innovative and market leading prod- ucts,” Thompson said.
“Pete and Bernadette have built a strong and reputable business which is known for its quality products and dedication to customers.
“We are excited to work together on the next stage of this journey and open up more opportunities for both our customers in Australia.’
In 2015 the condensate pump manufactur- er acquired a majority stake in Australian wholesaler, Pro Pipe Supplies.
Since its establishment in 1999, Pro Pipe has grown from a niche supplier of refrigera- tion drain pipe to a leading force in the Aus- tralian HVAC market. The company has been an Aspen Pumps distributor since 2006.
