5. AVAILABILITY OF SPARES:

5.1 SSDAC equipment: Spare units/cards are kept available at all SE/SSE/Signals.

5.2 IPS: Spare units / DC-DC Converter modules are kept available at all stations.
5.3 LC gate material: LC gate booms are kept at SE/SSE’s office as well as at
important LC gates.

5.4 EOLBS: Spare gate booms are kept at SE/SSE’s office as well as at important LC
gates.

5.5 Point machines: Spare point machines are kept at all important stations.
5.6 Relays: Sufficient spare relays of various types are kept at stations and at
SE/SSE’s stores.

5.7 Cables: Sufficient stocking of various cables are ensured at SE/SSE’s office and
Sr. DSTE’s central stores.
5.8 Track circuits/ Axle counter equipment: Various equipment / apparatus of track
circuits and spares for Axle counters are kept available at stations and stores
depots of SE/SSEs.
